The Sonoran Desert supports a remarkable variety of life. Most encounters are quiet and brief. Observing from a respectful distance, securing food and trash, and giving animals a clear way to leave help keep both residents and wildlife safe.

Wild animals should never be approached or fed. Keep pets close, use a light outdoors after dark, and check around patios, garages and landscaping before reaching into sheltered spaces.
